An excellent wine with tannic flavour, leaving a very pleasant aftertaste.

Full of dark chocolate and black fruit flavours, rich and warm.

First time I've ever tried this and it's a good strong alternative to Rioja - recommended to all!

Strong, peppery and a bit bitter.

A big powerful wine that would be great with roast meats, quite tannic so not for girls.
As to be expected from Barolo.

8/10 elegant and classy, smooth and full flavoured red.
Liquorice and brandy flavours, with big muscles.
Smooth, velvety and warming.
Reasonable price for a Barolo.

Very nice, full bodied wine which gets better with age.
Fruity witha fresh (slightly acidic) end, some tannins.

What value for money for a real classic with a first class pedigree.
Uncluttered but genuine, timeless character with royal heritage.
