Shock: Big brand - Good wine - And Value
Balanced, easy on the pallet, smooth and gulpable. Worth every penny

OK - but not at this price
It is a reliable wine for a fiver or less, but I wouldn't pay more than that - nothing special. The good thing is it is readily available well under the 7-10 pound mark touted here.

Sweetly Mild
A very heavy sugary presence, with a slight aroma. Good body and a very nice ruby colour. Slight aftertaste on sweet side, but worth the reduced price I paid. Good for freshening the palette after some strong flavours.

Yawn
Shipped over in tanker loads, this uninspiring cab sau is a supermarket staple and is a prime example of why Australia is in danger of taking the UK market for granted. I can recall a time when Wolf Blass was a premium product but no longer-this is not exactly bad more dull, mundane cough medicine for people with little discernment.

Not sure what everyone else was drinking
Heavier red than i'd expect for a Cab Sauvignon - but I think the previous reviews were a bit cruel - fruity dark and definately better than some other £7 wines I've had (although I did buy it on offer)!!

Not good value for money
I think I paid about £7 for this wine, probably the worst £7 wine I have ever had. Not very refined at all, tastes more like a cheap £3 bottle of heavy red. I have drunk a lot of Aussie reds over the years and I think this would be the worst. Avoid at all costs!

Foolish to buy at £7 but for a fiver it's usually reliable with blackcurrenty flavours and a nice nose. Don't expect much but for a mass producer it'll suffice if devoid of ideas.
