This was a great wine, bags of flavor, soft subtle tannins and a nice long finish. It wasn't like a lot of new world pinots which are all cherry and red fruit, but more complex with gamey flavors. At around £15,its not exactly cheap, but for this quality of wine its worth splashing out! It was only 4 years old but i thought it had a longer life ahead...good thing i still have a couple of bottles left!

What can I say about this fantastic pinot, it has clean fruit flavours that stay with you long after swallowed. It is defiantly the best Pinot I have tasted to date it is slightly on the pricey side but if you want a good Pinot then you have to expect to pay the price....for the time being!

This NZ Pinot is outstanding. It has an individual style. I tasted the 2000 last year and it was more than ready to drink. It has lush, medium intensity aromas of clove infused, spicey strawberries and raspberries. It has a beautifully textured medium bodied palate with the above flavours and good deliniation and a longish, characterful and balanced finish. This is the best Pinot under fifteen pounds for me !
