It's only just Burgun(dy)! I appreciate that this is a very expensive wine, but as I didn't have to pay for it, I could appreciate it for what it is. Really refined and well-structured - I really enjoyed the slightly vegetal and savoury characters with slight black-pepper and cranberry taste. This goes really well on its own, but I imagine also goes well with light savoury dishes like charcouterie tapas-style dishes.
