Glugabble yet complex my first impression was "gluggable", hardly 10/10 more 6/10, but that was on an empty stomach and after only 4 hours sleep after a night shift - no, not wine for breakfast, I had been awake for 10 hours before my first sip! Swill it around the glass and it has very short 'legs'so not much depth was anticipated. After a couple of glasses with dinner, meatballs, chips and beans (sorry but monday night is busy with Cubs, Beavers etc), I've detected some complex smells and flavours from this wine that exceed is £3.50 price. There is a strong hint of marshmallows together with the vanilla oakiness you would expect from such a combination of grapes. It's still not 10/10 but 8/10 would be fair and great value.
