Quiet Rat Tariquet has a great name in Armagnac production, but their wines are also usually reliable and well made. This is fine, not on par with the better NZ SBs, but this is France after all. Good acidic fruits, smells good too. I really liked the style of this wine; approachable, light, fresh and not too "sweaty" as some Sauv Blancs can be. We had with chicken salad and it was a perfect, light, summer combination! It was nice but more gentle than what I'm used to with more flavour and less acidity, I think it would go nicely with food or chilled in the garden.
