I had this the other night at a posh ceremony I went to - and it is quite frankly a thrilling experience. it's full of rich strawberry flavours but done in the most sophisticated way, with undertones of cherries spice. Full-bodied enough to have with venison steak but elegant at the same time. I loved this wine! Read the entire review by Cal from Dunstable Probably the best Pinot Noir I've ever had What can I say about this wine, except it is thanks to Saintsbury Pinot Noir Carnersos that Pinot Noir is my all time favourite grape of all time. This is essentially the wine that made me see how complex and exciting wine can be when made well. It's got really concentrated redcurrant and cherry characters and has an almost dark chocolate, slightly mocha-like aftertaste. I could write an essay on how delicious this wine is - but I won't.
