I have followed this brand since the '70s, so know that it matures really well. The example opened was 1998. Quite a creamy looker but with plenty of legs, the oak had diminished on the nose leaving light tropical hints under a really ripe attack. Palate was pure grape - long and succulent. The lingering acidity disappeared when tried with food (marinated red mullet). This proved that good Oz., properly stored away, can cut it with the top white burgs.
