Fit Fitou I had been meaning to try a good fitou and with this one I liked th packaging and the brand so took the plunge. Nose: Raspberries, light spice, herbs. Taste: You can taste the raspberries possibly from the Grenache grapes it is blended with. There's also a bit of blackcurrant and dark cherry. The tannins are nice and smooth; it is quite mouth-drying though but it well balanced. I had this with a spag bol and I don't think it was quite robust enough to match the rich sauce.
