Like one of the other contributors, I originally tasted this white with seafood tapas in Galicia and it was amazing! It is both voluptous and lean with complex aromas and flavours of lemon, lime, peaches and guava. It is a really lip smacking yet caressing wine, which is formidable with anything seafoody.

I tried this wine at a tasting the other day and I fell head over heels for it. It's like a cross between Viognier, Gruner Veltliner and Sauvingon Blanc! Really elegant and with a definate almondy-nutiness, as well as loads of apricot and lemon flavours. It's great value too!

I had something resembling this when I went on holiday to Galicia the other year, and boy did I enjoy it! Its totally different to anything else Ive tasted, but is a bit similar to something like Sauv Blanc I suppose. Don't be fooled, this is the good-looking, understated cousin to Sauvignon Blanc's over the top try-hard-ism. Well worth the time and effort I'd say.

After experimenting with this over the Christmas I am a convert. It is something a bit different, not what you expect. very dry but a lot of flavour.
I am going to try others but this was a big thumbs up for me!

First had this in a beach side tapas bar in Galicia and it knocked me sideways. Lovely lime and minerals on the nose leading to a zippy palate of peach and fresh lemon. Clean, open, balanced and refreshing. I love this with seafood and fresh fish simply grilled
