Read the entire review by lizzy85 from marlborough Always Excellent The thing about Muga is that even an okay vintage is going to be quite a lot better than an excellent one produced by someone else. The last Selección Especial I drank was a 2001 and it was delicious. I've tried their 2000 and 1999 ones too, and while these weren't stellar years like 2001, the wines were very nice indeed. Well balanced, low acidity, and beautiful colour. If you come across a bottle of this it's well worth picking one up. (And for the record, their crianzas are usually worth a try too.) This is a fantastic wine, suitable for a glass over a DVD or with pretty much anything you care to match it with at the table.
