unusual wine, tastes more like a port than a red wine. one that must be tried! goes very well with blue cheese, dark chocolate puddings, rich fruit cakes or christmas pudding.

This very fruity and very sweet alternative to port doesn't carry the weight of its Portugese sister. Having also been aged through a solera it also carries a certain nuttyness which works well with the lush red fruit flavours. Also good chilled as an apperitif.
