Okay, it doesn't quite live up to it's bottle description. But this isn't a bad wine by any means, and is certainly a better table wine than most. After trying it on its own, with pizza and with chocolate, it's tasted okay each time.
It's quite fruity, with a savoury aftertaste, and it is a bit spicy. It's simple, easy and drinkable. It's nothing special; I'd recommend it as something to drink after work in front of the TV or at the table, not something like a dinner party. But it's better than most people give it credit for, and I do think it deserves a try.

Not the worlds worst wine in my opinion - it's the sort of wine you would buy if you were taking it to a party but not drinking it!

Voyager is Hardys entry level brand for big blends, in this case using the not very nice Ruby Cabernet variety, giving a cheap wine that will not last for long. Get rid of it at someone elses barbie or a uni student bash.
