WOW!!! just tasted the 2006 vintage and its even more well balanced than the 2005. gret tastes of plum, black cherry, coffee bean, dark chocolate. its smokey and spicy and goes fantastically with a steak or bbq food. also if you are feeling a little adventurous, try it with a dark chocolate dessert. It took me a while to understand what he was on about, as it's a pretty acquired taste. After a while the smokey and slightly tar-like characters mellowed out and I began to taste the fresh plum and cherry flavours.
