You can't go wrong with a Chilean Most Chilean verities of red are produced to be a lot fruitier on the tongue than those produced by are European cousins and these wines seem to be far more in favour with us Brits. Personally I’m no expert but I do love wine that’s produced in Chile mainly because there’s an excellent variety and I’m less likely to pick a bad one as their generally all good. This wine is one of my favourite over the counter Chilean specials, its excellent value for the price and will go down well with just about everyone but the French, but then who the hell cares about the French. Its medium bodied palate is a treat with the above flavours, a lush and layered feel, a nice plump middle and a medium length, fruity finish. This wine is a beauty for the price. It just happened that we were having a take away this evening so I went out and bought some. It was very nice as they said, very cherry and jammy and went very well with our meal. It was very rounded and smooth. i think we paid around £6 for it and it was worth it! Fortunately this one was placed within my direct grabbing distance. Somewhat pricey but as I wasn't paying I thought it was fabulous ad worth every peny. Really rich but not overpowering, we had it with dinner and it complimented the whole meal with class and style. Would be a great bottle to pull out at a dinner party to impress or for that special occasion when you want to make someone feel special.
