This is a very successful wine, as other reviewers and frequent praises in the press demonstrate. I definitely agree that the wine shows good quality, but I am not completely convinced by the style. I find the creaminess and vanilla of the oak too upfront and prevailing. The wine has body, texture, and richness but not much complexity and subtlety. I think it could be better with less american oak.

Very good value. A little spicy but still a little soft and you can buy it everywhere. I try to keep a bottle in the cupboard at all times. You can find 'Taster' mini-bottles in a number of places, including ASDA.

a brilliant wine, and one that most of my friends like to drink (which is unusual as i often end up buying about 4 or 5 bottles when they are comming over just to please everyone!). fantastic value for money shows good balance and length. blackfruit flavours and just the right level of intensity.

This wine is a mystery. How is it so good every vintage? How does the winemaker manage to extract so much character from his Cabernet grapes? It has brash dusty mentholly aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries and hints of cloves. There are also some minerally hints. Its medium bodied palate is couth as well as nicely concentrated, but has some assertive tannins on the medium finish. Excellent value. Maybe the best Cabernet in the world at under six pounds !

This is one of the best reds I've tried in this price point. The Chileans sure know how to serve up value for money.
Highly recommended!

One of the wines I tend to have at home all the time, just in case I fancy a glass. Very nice to drink, good with food too. Greta value for money!!

This is just one of those good wines to have around. Really fruity and easy drinking but still quite punchy. Good on most occasions and most people seem to like it.
