Save your money for something else. I bought this due to the great reviews it's getting. My partner and I are both fans of Rioja wines for its fruity flavours and smooth drinkability. This wine (2006) was under a fiver at Tesco, so it was a good deal. Or so we thought. The wine smelt very fruity and rich, but unfortunately fell short of expectations when it came to taste. It was quite watery, tasteless and fairly high in acidity. Save your money for a better wine. It's a lovely, smooth red with an almost creamy aftertaste - with loads of red and black fruitiness.
