Quimera is, as always, a well structured, beautiful example of restraint in this Bordeaux styled blend of Malbec, Cab and Merlot. Deep currant fruit as well as some red fruit aromas lead to a tightly structured palate, that is primary as well as tense and framed by not only the youthful tannins, but good acidity as well. This is serious wine for the cellar - either decant for a few hours and enjoy with a steak, or check back in a few years.

Deep ruby red colour. Great rounded flavour on the palate. The well defined tannins give power and complexity before giving way to a long finish.

There's plenty of finesse in the smooth-textured non-vintage Veuve Clicquot Champagne, whose flavors evoke apricot, peach, vanilla pastry and mineral; racy, with snappy acidity.
