Like juicy refreshing reds and subtle sophisticated whites and anything from the Ribero del duero.

Fantastic and complex wine with great red fruit character and chocolate notes. Its from Australia's limestone coast and grapes are grown in the famous red terra rosa soil. Absolutely delicious, really refreshing mouth-feel. Would be great with something like lamb and rosemary but equally sprightly to drink on its own.

OUr friends Lance and Leanne put us onto this in the Engineer pub in North London. NOw though its seems ilke everyone knows about Chateau Musar but failed to tell us before!

This wine is choclately, Moorish but with such a fine, long finish you never gulp it down. Its a really satisfying mouth full.

You'll want to ask in Majestic or similar and get a recommendation as certain years can be a little metallic. Don't let that stop you!

I was introduced very luckily, by a friend who knows a lot about Durius. Its a lovely temp. with that playful spice and subtle oak. Enjoy drinking this with a nice roast lamb with rosemary of just on its own around the kitchen table, imagining you are there by the river!
