"Lovely and balanced " - M&S Verdicchio

This is a very enjoyable white wine, that goes very well with fish, poultry and pasta. Its main virtue is that it is very well balanced. It is delicately scented, in the mouth it combines good weight with lovely freshness and it finishes dry and persistent with a slightly bitter note of almond and kernels (typical of Verdicchio). Very good alternative to Chardonnay.
