This wine has a light golden, off spring green colour. The smell reveals the apple notes that the bottle claims the wine delivers. There is an intense palate of goosberry flavours, but these are often overpowered by the apple. The wine is not too acidic and certainly not too sweet, and it's a perfect match with fish, seafood and chicken. At £4 a bottle (3 for 2 at Threshers) it's a steal. I wholeheartedly recommend this wine, especially for people like me who are put off by overpowering citrus flavours; which this wine lacks. |
