I tried this because I wanted to see whether there was more to Spain than Rioja. Although it was a good, full-flavoured wine, I didn't find it any different from other big reds out there. I am still looking for a really interesting non-Rioja Spanish wine which will stun me with its originality and innovation - but I'm now thinking that I might have to pay more for the privilege. |
