I was recommended this grape variety by a friend, who described it as a sort of cross between Sauvignon Blanc and a light Chardonnay. This particular friend is really into their wines and to tell the truth is a bit of a wine bore but I decided to give it a go. i was very pleasantly surprised and so too were the friends I was drinking it with. Really light and refreshing when chilled down, and with subtle citrus fruit flavours going on. The price is a bit restricting but as a treat this wine is just the job and really unusual. |
