"Disappointing" - Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label

I find the old Veuve really variable. sometimes its a wine that reminds you why champagne is great, sometimes it's earthy and cheap. For this I tend to avoid these days and would plump for Bollinger, Laurent-Perrier or Taittinger instead.
