I was given this as a present and was chuffed as it's a bit of legendary wine in many ways. Anyway, I read that it goes really with a rich pate - so we pushed the boat out and bought some foie gras. I can tell you that if I had to bring any type of food and drink with me onto a desert island it would be these two. The honey-like character of the wine compliments the richness of the pate so well. This is a real treat! |
