I beg to differ with your reveiw of the Mcguigan Handmade Shiraz review. From your description, it sounds like the wine was corked or had some other fault. I've had the Handmade Shiraz a few times, most recently at the London International Wine Fair and I can tell you that it bore none of the characteristics that you described. It was a rather lush and full wine with plenty of dark fruits and pepper as well as some lovely oak characteristics. To say that this wine is an abomination is just wrong. Rather then sue the winemaker, I suggest you take the bottle back to the shop you bought it from and request a replacement. I would be extremely surprised if the second wine had the same characteristics. Don't be afraid to return bottles that you think may be faulty (just be sure you don't pour it away), staff are usually happy to replace it free of charge.
