It’s never been easier to enjoy wine and help others at the same time. Experience the warm glow of a glass of Fairhills as the leading Fairtrade wine brand launches its brand new range of Argentinean wines.
To celebrate, Fairhills has teamed up with Lovethatwine.co.uk to offer two lucky readers the chance to win a case (twelve bottles) of delicious Fairhills Fairtrade wines.
The new Fairhills wines from Argentina are Fairhills Mendoza Vineyards Chenin Torrontes and Fairhills Mendoza Vineyards Shiraz Tempranillo (recently awarded Best Argentinean Red in the Fairtrade Wine Awards 2007). These wines are produced in one of the largest Fairtrade projects in Argentina involving over 200 people and creating life changing improvements in working conditions and education for the farming community. Both wines are available now, exclusively in Tesco priced £4.99.
The Fairhills Association was founded in South Africa in 2005. A unique project, Fairhills offers better living and working conditions for farmers and their families. Fairhills was Fairtrade accredited in 2005 and since then profits from the sales of Fairhills branded South African wines have contributed to life changing developments for the Fairhills community - day care and pre-care teaching facilities for all children, better access to primary, secondary and tertiary education, adult education, health care facilities and job creation. Two years on and Fairhills has extended its work to Argentina and is now the biggest Fairtrade wine project in the world.
